AIVA : one curator per continent!
In addition to screenings & installations of video art and performances, the festival invites international guest curators to curate programs of video art from North America (Paul Young), South America (Kika Nicolela), Europe (Gabriel Soucheyre), Asia (Gye-Joong Kim), Africa (Kisito Assangni) and Australia (Rob Garrett). These programs will be exhibited as projections in containers placed in the main square.

Become co-director of Synchronicity the film !

SynchroniCity is a collaborative creation introduced by Marc Blieux with international artists and the public. The goal is to create a multimedia work that will become updated in various real places and on numerous media, 3D virtual environments (Second Life), augmented reality, social network,... A full length movie will finalize this project.

Join SynchroniCity by suggesting a work realized specifically for this project, 2D, 3D, acoustic, video, dance, performance,… All the selected works will be presented during the french festival VIDEOFORMES2012!

Videoformes participates to the launching of the 24-25 portal.

The portal is a new tool for research into seven French audiovisual archives dedicated to time-based media: avant-garde and experimental cinema, artists' films, video art works, exhibition cinema, creative documentaries, essay films... A variety of innovative forms of the moving image, patrimonial as well as contemporary works. This is a web platform open to both professionals - researchers, programmers, artists - and the public interested in experimental and avant-garde cinema.
